Terms of Service

These terms apply when you work with Brightsign Web on a website. Brightsign Web is run by David McNutt in Boynton Beach, Florida. “We” and “us” means Brightsign Web; “you” means the business we build the site for. By approving a concept and paying the deposit, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

We design and build websites for local service businesses, such as movers, landscapers, cleaners and contractors. A standard build is $400 flat and includes a custom homepage design for your business, a mobile-first layout, copy polish from the information and photos you provide, basic on-page SEO, and launch on your domain.

Changes after launch are not included in the build price. They can be quoted when you need them.

2. How a project works

1. Free concept. We design a homepage concept for your business at no cost and with no obligation.
2. Deposit. If you want to go ahead, you approve the concept and pay a $200 deposit.
3. Build. We build the full site from the information and photos you provide.
4. Approval. You review the finished site and approve it.
5. Final payment. The remaining $200 is due after you approve the finished site, before launch.
6. Launch. We put the site live on your domain.

3. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. Deposits, cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.

4. Your content

You supply the business information and content for your site, and you confirm that it is accurate. You also confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any photos, logos and other material you send us.

5. Who owns the site

Once the build is paid in full, the site files belong to you. Until then, the concept and work in progress remain ours.

6. Domains and hosting

Domains are bought in your name, and you pay the domain registrar directly (usually about $10 to $20 a year). We put your site live using a hosting account in your name; many small business sites fit on a free plan. Any domain or hosting fees are between you and those providers.

7. How we use AI

We use modern design tools, including AI, to design and write sites. Every site is reviewed by a person before it ships.

8. No guarantee of search rankings

We add basic on-page SEO so search engines can read what you do and where you work. We can't guarantee search rankings, traffic or leads.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the fees you paid us.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
